About schumi.one
The short story to schumi.one
and why I wanted to create this fan-site
Well I was not around when Formula 1 started in 1950 at Silverstone. I was born in 1962 in Denmark, and in my childhood there were not much car racing on TV, so the reel interest came in the late sixties when names like Jackie Stewart, Mario Andretti and Jacky Ickx were hot in Formula 1. My first hero was Emerson Fittipaldi, foremost I think it was the black Lotus with golden John Player Special commercials - It was a beauty! I always followed the World Championship and did notice some great drivers like Niki Lauda, Nelson Piquet, Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost to mention some.  Already in the eighties I started to love the red/white cars of Ferrari and I have stayed as a fan ever since. Denmark has so far had five Formula 1 drivers, Tom Belsoe, Jac Nelleman, Jan Magnussen, Nicolas Kiesa and Kevin Magnussen who is still driving for Haas.

In 1991 something began to develop in Formula 1, a new driver had his debut on Spa that year by the name of Michael Schumacher, the history of his magnificent Formula 1 career we all know. We also know the story of the tragic accident he had in December 2013 - #KeepFightingMichael.

All the way from 1991 until 2012 Michel Schumacher has been my hero in Formula 1 - And still is, even after he left Ferrari and joined Mercedes. My nickname comes with my fan loyalty to Michael Schumacher, some of my friends started to call me Schumi, but there is only one Schumi, so I had to be schumi.one
J I have had the enjoyment of being to Spa and Monza to watch Formula 1 live and it is so great!

My interest for F1 gaming came in 2002 when GP4 was released, and that has developed alongside with the software since - Since year 2010 I have enjoyed the games F1-2010 to F1-22 from Codemasters.

This fan-site is my way of making a tribute to Michael Schumacher, Ferrari, Formula 1 and F1 games.
